Scoring Tournament Points for 2012 Series Year
The total inch length (to the nearest tenth) of your entry fish will equal your fish entry tournament points.
example: (20 inch fish equals 20 points)
Bait Bonus Points are 10 Points per fish caught on Sponsor Lures and will add onto your total series standings points.
Slam Bonus Points are 10 Points and will add onto your total fish entry tournament points in slam tournaments.
example: 3 fish slam total length of 40" plus 10 slam bonus points =50 entry tournament ponts.
Early Registration Points (20) and Fishing Event Points (5) will add onto your total series standing points.
Your total length of your fish points plus slam bonus points will determine your podium finish for that tournament.
After the tournament your score will be added to any early registration and fishing event points and bonus points for your total series score. Total series score will have no effect on your podium score for an individual tournament.
The anglers with the most tournament series points at the conclusion of the regular series will determine the Series Championship order.
There will be an early registration period for each tournament with a cutoff date. To earn Early Registraion Poinst you must register/pay in the time period.
There will be an extended registration period up until the closing of registration that follows the early registration period. During this registration period there will be no early registraion points awarded. This will be strickly enforced.
In the event of a tie in a slam tournament between a non slam & a slam entry, the slam wins. In the event of a tie between slam entries, the first to weigh in wins.
In the event of a tie in a non-slam event, the first to weigh in wins.
There will be a sign in sheet at weigh in. Please sign in and the time will be recorded. You will be called in order to the weigh in table.
A weigh in score sheet will be filled out in your presence which you will sign. Your points will be entered onto the electronic scoreboard in your presence. After all weigh in is complete, a third party will varify the score sheets and score board for each individual. Upon approval the score board will be rendered and automatically align all entries in highest to lowest order. This will also be varified by the third party and will be open to all contestants. There will be no objections heard after this time.
Announcement of the winners will be done by the tournament director only. Violation will constitute disqualification.
