DELTA Series Fly Reel

In our 2010 series year we introduced the Redington DELTA fly reel to the Kayak Fishing ClassicS anglers and rest of the world and we are pleased to welcome them once again for 2012. After eleven grueling tournaments on the Gulf of Mexico in 2011, the DELTA has proven itself to be everything the we and Redington said it to be.
 The  DELTA Series features a fully machined reel made from 6061-T6 aluminum for a super lightweight and durable reel. The Smoke anodized Large Arbor reel features a powerful one-way cluth for silky smooth immediate drag engagement and a Cork/Teflon drag system that will turn any ocean run fish. The ClassicS will be featuring the DELTA Large Arbor 9/10 and 11/12 reels so we have plenty of backing for those powerful snook and reds. We can also put brakes on those huge inshore tarpon. Redington is well known for offering fantastic gear and great prices. The DELTA Reel is made for fighting power saltwater fish and the Large Arbor design affords plenty of backing. The Cork and Teflon drag system sports a bearing system for a super smooth, tippet saving engagement and puts the brakes on those arm numbing monsters that we catch in our tournaments. 
The DELTA 9/10 is a 4.13 inch diameter reel and weighs only 8.2 oz. The 11/12 has a huge 4.49 inch diamater and weighs in at a feather-weight of only 9 oz. The 9/10 DELTA with a 10 wt. line sports 200 yard capacity of 30 LB. backing and the 11/12  with a 12 wt. fly line holds 250 yards with 30 LB. backing. Very impressive stats!
